Each September, The Gents Place proudly hosts the Veterans Suit Drive through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Operation Gentlemen. During this month-long event, we collect essential items like suits, ties, belts, shoes, and more. These donations are then prepared for a special event in November, just in time for Veterans Day.

Our volunteers head to the Soldier Recovery Unit at Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), in Killeen TX, where veterans facing challenges such as amputation, PTSD, and depression are invited to ‘shop’ in an environment reminiscent of a high-end store. Our team members serve as personal shoppers, ensuring each veteran feels valued. Thanks to our generous partners, grooming essentials like shaving cream and hair pomade are also provided.

To further support these brave individuals, Operation Gentlemen creates a book filled with positive messages, job leads, and practical advice, helping veterans as they transition to civilian life. This drive is our way of honoring and uplifting those who have served our country.

Yes, We accept both men’s and women’s clothing

Do you only accept suits?

We also accept dress shirts, dress pants, belts, and shoes in new or gently used condition.

Can I donate money instead of clothing?

Yes! We are raising $20,000 to support our Veterans.
