More About our Non-Profit, Operation Gentlemen
Operation Gentlemen is a Dallas, Texas-based 501c(3) non-profit (Tax ID: 83-1941184)
founded by Lauren Davis, and her husband, Ben, that supports three primary causes:
- Providing meals to homeless Veterans in need. Every annual membership at The Gents Place feeds a homeless Veteran, in partnership with GreaterGood.org.
- Collecting suits and business attire from all of The Gents Place locations in September of each year via a formal Suit Drive. These suits are donated to the Warrior Transition Unit in Fort Cavazos (Killeen, TX)
- Operating a pop-up barbershop on the second Sunday of each month in partnership with Austin Street Center, a shelter for those experiencing homelessness in downtown Dallas. We treat our homeless friends to an amazing grooming experience and help give each and every person a greater sense of dignity.
- Helping Mothers-in-Crisis. Operation Gentlemen looks for unique opportunities to help mothers who are in crisis situations – whether it be experiencing homelessness, the loss of a child or other traumatic and unexpected life-changing events, we exist to help mothers in a time of dire need.
To date, Operation Gentlemen has donated over 47,500 meals to homeless Veterans, provided over 10,000 suits and business attire
items and performed over 3,400 haircuts for those experiencing homelessness.
