Wow! That about sums it up. To be honest, I usually just go to a Sports Clips and get my hair done when needed. However, for just a little bit more, I get so much more. The staff was extremely friendly, It was nice to be in a "masculine" setting, without feeling like it was some "he-man/over-testosteroned" setting, where everything must be sports sports sports, and nothing else. I'm not into sports, so it was great to be able to go to The Gent's, feel relaxed, completely pampered, get great service, look good, and feel good.

I was give a 7 course referral card from a close friend whose been a loyal client of your Preston hollow club for 3+yrs. I have been a faithful client of XXXXX barbershop for the past year but fell in love with the atmosphere and "experience" at The Gents Place! It truly is an experience like none other which is why I signed up for a 7 course membership today. Just wanted to write to give some feedback to you about one of your employees, Carmen Kimberley. I had the pleasure of seeing her a couple of weeks ago for a styling and just wanted to applaud her for her professionalism and skill in cutting my hair. Due to my various training experiences, I have lived in four different cities over the past 7 years which has afforded me the unfortunate opportunity to have many different people, largely unskilled, cut my hair. Carmen stood out from those other experiences and should be commended as such.

Fantastic experience! I was greeted sweetly by Katie upon entering and provided with a short tour of the facility and offered a drink. No sooner had we finished the tour, Lisa came and grabbed me to begin my haircut. I felt very relaxed throughout the 7-course and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the ladies, and other customers. She came across as caring and efficient. I was in an accident and my physical therapy conflicted with having a Lilly cut my hair (another Star); Cortnie worked it out and made it much simpler on my schedule. She is a good one!!!!!

I found the Gents Place to be comfortable and inviting. Gretchen cut my hair and rather than just trying to get through another hair cut quickly, I felt like she was trying to make me look better. The last time I let someone touch my beard, the person didn¹t even listen to my guidance and gave me what they wanted not what I wanted. Your staff took the time to listen to me and they did a fantastic job. I¹m EXTREMELY PLEASED with how I look and the confidence that comes with that. I just wanted to thank you again for the 5-Course Treatment at the Frisco club the other day. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had getting my hair cut. The staff was warm and welcoming, the facilities were very inviting and comfortable (unlike most beauty salons targeted towards ladies), and Tiffany was the icing on the cake! I told her how unhappy I was with my current cut/style and told her to do whatever she wanted, because anything would be an improvement. A few minutes later, I had the best haircut I’ve had in my life- one that I really wanted, but didn’t know if I could ever pull off. I brought along a friend who had a 3 course himself, and loved the experience just as much. It looks like you’ve got two new customers! Kudos to you and the staff! Had my first experience here yesterday. Had a birthday "spa day" gift that included a 5 course, eyebrow wax, and hand and foot repair. Drove over from Arlington on the Saturday after the Ice Storm of 2013 (about 2 hours). TOTALLY worth it! If I lived in Dallas, I would become a member, but a 40 mile one way drive is a little long for a haircut. BUT, I'll be getting the 3 Grooming Services package and make it over every few months. Get a store in Arlington, and you have your first member right here!

Had a great experience on Friday. I left feeling great. The ear and nose thing was life changing. Your staff was excellent and easy to communicate with and I thought their concern for my time was a really nice change from other places that don't really give you any idea--and often make you wait a good while because the five appointments before you were late. I'm coming back for sure--it was a nice place to be, especially considering that kind of thing isn't something I have found relaxing in the past. I really enjoyed it this time.

I just wanted to start off by saying the only thing the Gent's Place has done wrong is that it hasn't expanded faster haha. Every time I fly in to see family in the Plano area I make sure to get at the very least a straight razor shave by one of your Master Barber's. Your staff treats and takes care of me like family, for that reason and so many more I keep my business at The Gent's Place. Reason for the long periods in between my visits is due to the fact that I actually live in Pittsburgh, PA and sadly there are no Gent's Place locations in my area. I will be frank and say that I have tried the Art of Shaving location here in the Pittsburgh Metro area but I can tell you that The Gent's place blows it out of the water hands down. The way your store is set up, the impeccable service your staff provides, and the fact that as the Founder and CEO you send a personal email to check up on your patrons speaks volume to me. For these reasons you will always have me as a Gent's Place member for life even if I can only make it to town once or twice a year. Thanks again for your years of outstanding service.

In keeping with your " my childhood..." comments about getting away to a movie, you have brought getting a haircut to a whole new level. I used to go with my dad and brother down to the corner where the red-white-blue column rotated - remember. Now I take my son and grandson to the Gents Place. Darn near as good as going to a movie. My husband and son both went to your location in Leawood. We were ALL very pleased with the results! Now that we're moving to the Jacksonville, FL area, it is becoming rough to find a suitable replacement. There is a place here called XYZ (intentionally anonymized) Grooming for Men, but they don't have a clue! I think they're really struggling and now they're even inviting their women to come in for services. They have a beach theme and the walls are painted black, but that's the only masculine thing about it! My husband was telling me about their "hair" massages...not scalp. Poor people! They need to come to The Gents Place! I would just LOVE it if you could tell me that you have wanted to set up shop here in the Jacksonville area--I would recommend St. John. Pretty Please? With Sugar on it?!

I was at The Gents Place Preston Hollow in March-I came in on a Gilt City deal that my girlfriend got me and I was WOWED. Its an awesome location, Christine was lovely and took good care of my girlfriend while I was getting my hair cut, and it was generally an overall very pleasant experience....I just wanted to say that I was much more impressed with The Gents Place than with XXXXXXX when I went, so definitely keep up the good work!

A few years ago, I actually hated the whole process of trying to book an appointment (which was usually during the middle of the work day if I did not book it far enough in advance) or settling for a lousy cut if I went to one of the chains. The Gents Place costs about twice as much as your standard Great Clips cut, but I find it to be completely worth the price. For $38 you get a very good cut with attention to detail, a relaxing/massaging shampoo, a hot towel, neck shave, and your drink of choice. The atmosphere is also nice and relaxing. They always keep track of exactly how they cut your hair previously, and spend a lot of time focusing on the smaller details of your cut. This may not seem like much, but it really makes a difference.The ability to book appointments online is very handy, and the location is not hard to get to at all. I use MJ as my stylist of choice, and she gives me the best cut I have ever had. You'll see why the extra $20 is worth the price.

Even though I'm a self-professed Country Club Plaza fanatic I find myself spending more and more time getting to know Town Center these days. A couple of times a year I allow myself to splurge on the services here. I have gotten a foot repair and hand repair service so far. My foot repair session lasted 1 generous hour and the aesthetician did an excellent job of making me feel welcome and actually told me several times to relax and watch the baseball game. I must admit that I am used to the Vietnamese or Korean spa ladies being a little rougher with me because I am one of their rare male clients; this was a nice change of pace. I was offered bourbon but took an (almost) equally refreshing bottled water.The interior design and space is very clean and masculine and it does very much feel like a mens club. I actually felt somewhat out of place there as a 25 year old but there did appear to be some professionals in their late 20s/early 30s present. I think once I advance more in my salary I can take advantage of these superb services more often.

I was in town for some business and family when I noticed that my hair was long over due for some routine maintenance. I was given a quick tour with the receptionist and was passed over to Nicole. After assessing my cowlicks, the texture of my hair and my preferences, she started working on my hair. What I really liked about her was her ability to call out a lot of challenges in working with my hair and offered her solutions; something that very very few hair stylists have done for me. When she was done, she took just enough off while balancing and blending in the uneven growth of my hair. The complementary drinks were also a nice touch of Shiner Bock, Coors, and JW Red.Nicole was professional and pleasant to be with the entire time; she took the work seriously and I appreciated that.
